Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policy
Tynari Private Limited · Effective Date: 29 June 2026 · Last Updated: 29 June 2026
This Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policy (the "Policy") explains how cancellations, returns, refunds, replacements, and quality claims work when you order products through Tynari Private Limited ("Tynari," "we," "us," or "our") at www.tynari.com or through a store, marketplace, or integration powered by Tynari. This Policy is part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and understood this Policy.
This Policy is designed to comply with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, and other applicable laws of India. Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes any right that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
1. How Our Made-to-Order Products Work
Tynari runs a print-on-demand and custom manufacturing platform. Knowing how our products are made will help you understand your cancellation and return rights.
- Almost every product sold through Tynari is made to order, printed on demand, or otherwise customised to a design, configuration, or personalisation that you, or the merchant whose store you bought from, chose or approved.
- We do not keep finished, pre-made stock of personalised items. Production starts only after we confirm an order and, where it applies, receive payment and get approval of any required design proof.
- Because we make each item individually to your specification, custom and personalised goods are, by their nature, not suitable for resale and are treated differently from standard, off-the-shelf retail goods.
In this Policy, "Custom Product" means any product that is personalised, made to a buyer's specification, or produced on demand against a specific design, name, image, message, or configuration. "Standard Product" means any non-personalised, ready-made item (if any) that is offered for sale without customisation.
2. Cancelling an Order
This section explains when you can cancel an order and when Tynari can cancel one.
2.1 When You Cancel
- You can ask to cancel an order only before production begins. Once an item has entered production, printing, or fabrication, you generally cannot cancel it, because we have already committed work and materials to your specific item.
- To ask to cancel, contact support@tynari.com as soon as you can after placing your order, and quote your order number. We will confirm whether production has started.
- If we receive and accept your cancellation request before production begins, we will cancel the order and refund any amount you paid, using the method in Section 7.
- If you bought through a merchant's store, that merchant may handle your cancellation request. See Section 8.
2.2 When Tynari Cancels
We may cancel an order, in whole or in part, where:
- we suspect the order is fraudulent, unauthorised, or in breach of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy;
- the design or content submitted infringes third-party rights or is otherwise unlawful or prohibited;
- a product, material, or configuration is unavailable, mispriced, or discontinued; or
- an event outside our reasonable control prevents production or delivery.
Where we cancel an order for a reason other than your breach, we will refund the amount you paid for the cancelled items in full.
3. Returns Because You Changed Your Mind
Because we personalise our products, the rules for change-of-mind returns are limited.
- Custom Products are generally not returnable or refundable if you change your mind, including where you ordered the wrong size, colour, design, or quantity, made a spelling or design error, or simply changed your mind after approving your order or proof.
- This limit reflects the customised, made-to-order nature of the goods, and the law allows it for goods made to a consumer's specification or clearly personalised.
- This change-of-mind limit does not affect your rights where an item is defective, damaged, materially different from the approved proof, or the wrong item, which are covered in Section 4 and Section 5. It also does not apply to any Standard Products, which you may return under Section 6.
4. When You Can Get a Reprint or Refund
You can get a reprint or refund, whatever the customised nature of the product, where the item you receive is:
- Defective — affected by a manufacturing defect, printing defect, or material or quality issue that you did not cause;
- Damaged — damaged in production or in transit before it reached you;
- Materially different from the approved proof — not matching the design, artwork, colours, or specification that was approved for production, beyond reasonable and disclosed variation; or
- The wrong item — a different product, size, variant, or design from the one you ordered.
In each of these cases, you get a reprint/replacement or a refund, as described in Section 5.
Some variation is normal and does not count as a defect. This includes minor differences in colour caused by screen calibration, dye lots, or printing processes; slight variations in placement or sizing within stated tolerances; and the natural characteristics of materials. These are normal features of print-on-demand manufacturing and are not, on their own, grounds for a refund.
5. Quality and Delivery Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of what we make. This section sets out our Quality and Delivery Guarantee.
5.1 What the Guarantee Covers
Tynari and its print partners will reprint, replace, or refund an order where it is affected by:
- a manufacturing defect or printing defect;
- a misprint, including incorrect colours, positioning, or content introduced in production;
- a material or quality issue not caused by misuse; or
- damage in transit before delivery.
5.2 How to Make a Claim
- You must submit claims under this Guarantee within 7 days of delivery (or, if the order does not arrive, within 7 days of the latest estimated delivery date).
- Send your claim to support@tynari.com, quoting your order number and describing the problem.
- You must include photographic evidence that clearly shows the defect, damage, misprint, or incorrect item, and, where relevant, the packaging and shipping label. Clear evidence lets us resolve claims quickly and work with our print partners.
- We may ask for more information and, in limited cases, ask you to return or dispose of the affected item.
5.3 What You Get
- Where we accept a valid claim, you get — at our or the merchant's reasonable discretion, taking your preference into account — a free reprint/replacement of the affected item or a refund of the amount you paid for that item.
- We will not ask you to pay again for a corrected reprint of a defective item, and we will cover the cost of any return that we ask you to make.
6. Standard (Non-Personalised) Products
Where an order is for a Standard Product that is genuinely non-personalised and ready-made:
- you may return it within 7 days of delivery, as long as it is unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging; and
- once we receive and inspect it, we will refund the price of the returned item, less any deduction the law allows for reduced value caused by handling beyond what is needed to examine the item.
Return shipping for change-of-mind returns of Standard Products is the buyer's responsibility, unless the item is defective, damaged, or wrong, in which case Section 5 applies.
7. Lost, Delayed, and Non-Delivery Claims
This section applies where an order does not arrive, arrives late, or is reported lost.
- If tracking shows no delivery progress for a long period, or an order is marked delivered but you did not receive it, contact support@tynari.com promptly so we can investigate with the carrier.
- For confirmed loss in transit or non-delivery, we will arrange a reprint and reshipment or a refund of the affected items.
- Delivery time estimates are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless we clearly say so. Delays caused by carriers, customs, incorrect or incomplete delivery addresses you provided, or events outside our reasonable control are not, on their own, defects, but we will help you in good faith to resolve them.
- Where an order comes back to us as undeliverable because of an address error, we will contact you to arrange reshipment (which may cost extra for shipping) or a refund, less reasonable costs we have incurred.
8. Refund Method and Timing
This section explains how and when we issue refunds.
- We issue approved refunds to the original payment method used for the order, unless that method is unavailable, in which case we will agree an alternative with you.
- We process refunds in Indian Rupees (₹) for orders placed in INR. Where you paid for an order in another currency, we process the refund in that currency, and your bank or payment provider may apply its own conversion and charges.
- Once a refund is approved, we initiate it within 2 business days and it is normally credited to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days. The exact time depends on your bank, card issuer, or payment provider, and we will always act within the timelines required by applicable law and our payment partners.
- Refunds cover the price of the affected items and, where the whole order is defective or cancelled before production, the related shipping charge. Where only part of an order is affected, we calculate the refund on the affected items.
9. Orders Through a Merchant's Store
Many buyers reach Tynari indirectly, by buying from a creator's or merchant's store that uses Tynari for fulfilment. Responsibility is shared as follows.
- The merchant is the seller of record for consumer-facing purposes and is mainly responsible for handling customer enquiries, returns, refunds, and the published store-level refund policy that applied to your purchase.
- Tynari supports fulfilment claims, meaning we work with the merchant and our print partners to assess and resolve manufacturing defects, misprints, quality issues, transit damage, and delivery failures under the Quality and Delivery Guarantee.
- If you bought from a merchant's store, please raise returns and refunds with that merchant first. The merchant's own refund terms may give you extra rights; they cannot reduce your statutory rights described in Section 10.
10. Your Statutory Rights Under Indian Consumer Law
This Policy works alongside, and does not limit, your rights as a consumer under the laws of India.
10.1 Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and E-Commerce Rules, 2020
- Under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, you can get a remedy where the goods supplied are defective, of substandard quality, not as described, the wrong item, or damaged. Available remedies may include replacement, refund, or other relief.
- We will not refuse to take back defective, deficient, or wrongly delivered goods, or refuse a refund for such goods where the problem is established, in a way that is inconsistent with the E-Commerce Rules.
- We aim to act fairly, transparently, and without unfair trade practices, and we do not manipulate prices or treat consumers unfairly.
10.2 No Statutory Cooling-Off for Customised Goods
- Custom Products are made to your specification or clearly personalised. There is no statutory cooling-off or change-of-mind cancellation right for such customised goods once production has begun. This does not affect your rights for defective, damaged, wrong, or non-conforming goods described above.
10.3 Grievance Redressal and Timelines
- We keep a grievance redressal mechanism. To raise a grievance, contact support@tynari.com. We will acknowledge your grievance and try to resolve it within the timelines set by the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
- Our Grievance Officer is Siddhant Chopra, who can be reached at privacy@tynari.com. We also publish our grievance contact details on our website and provide them on request.
- If we do not resolve your grievance to your satisfaction, you may use the remedies available to you under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including approaching the appropriate consumer disputes redressal forum.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Policy, and any dispute or claim arising out of or connected with it, its subject matter, or its formation, are governed by and interpreted under the laws of India. Subject to any consumer rights you have to bring proceedings in another forum under applicable law, the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana, India have jurisdiction over any such dispute or claim.
14. Region-Specific Consumer Rights
Your statutory rights depend on where you live. The following applies in addition to the rest of this Policy, and where local law gives you mandatory rights, those rights are not affected by this Policy.
14.1 United Kingdom and EEA
- Faulty, damaged, or misdescribed goods: under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 you have a 30-day right to reject faulty goods and rights to repair or replacement; consumers in the EEA have comparable conformity rights.
- The 14-day distance-selling right to cancel (UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013; EU Consumer Rights Directive) does not apply to bespoke or personalised goods, which covers most of our made-to-order products, but does apply to any standard, non-personalised items.
14.2 United States
- Remedies for defective, damaged, or incorrect products are provided under our Quality and Delivery Guarantee together with applicable U.S. state consumer-protection law.
14.3 India
- The Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 apply. You may raise a grievance through our grievance-redressal channel, and we will respond within the timelines required by law.
